Greetings! "In the Doghouse"...meaning - In a relationship, if a guy is “in the doghouse” it means he is in trouble with his girlfriend. She’s angry with him for something and she’s probably not talking to him. Husbands can be “in the doghouse” too. If a couple is living together, being in the doghouse means that your wife, or girlfriend, probably won’t let you even sleep in the same bed during that time. You will have to sleep on the couch until she decides to forgive you. The couch is kind of like the “dog house”. Ex. in a sentence - My friend came over the other day and said, “Hey guys, I’m in the doghouse again”.
