I think men do have more affairs than women.. the ratio between men and women is 1:3 which means if a man will stick to one woman, chances is two woman will be an old maid nobody wants to grow old alone so the thing is some women choose to have relationship with married men just to have a child Another example is religion. muslim can legally marry more than one woman for as long as he is financially capable  (11 years ago)
