Once, there was a Kingdom with a mysterious rule 4 the King, who rules the Kingdom. The rule is “The King can rule the kingdom only for five years. On successful completion of his term, he’ll be left alone, in a Forest, filled with wild animals! Those who go there will surely die as a prey to wild animals.
The First king ruled the Kingdom for five years. Each day the King feared about the day he would be left alone in the forest to die. His fear of death had made him an inefficient King. After completing his term, he was carried away by his servants and was left alone in the forest.
The Second king came to rule. He was so scared because he saw the fate of him right in front of his eyes, He ruled the Kingdom only for three years. He died on the third year because of the fear & the stress.
The third king took over the kingdom. He was ruling happily and efficiently from the first day he became the king. The People were so happy during his period. He was never worried about what was about to come. He enjoyed every day of his life. His term was about to complete within a few days. But the King never seemed to worry about the same. The day came and the King was about to leave the kingdom. One of his ministers asked him, “King, are you not afraid about your future?” The King smiled and replied,” There is no reason to be afraid. On the First year of my term, when we fought with our neighboring kingdom, I asked all the slaves who lost to us, to go to the Forest and rehabilitate it. On the 2nd year, I helped them 2 form a civilization there. On the 3rd year, I’ve asked the people over there to kill all the wild animals. On the 4th year, I’ve taught the People how to cultivate, trade, learn. On the 5th year, I’ve built a huge Palace over there & have created a Kingdom over there. Now my Job is to go there and be a King there too.”
This is a true life anecdote about Albert Einstein, and his theory of relativity.
After having propounded his famous theorY, Albert Einstein would tour the various Universities in the United States, delivering lectures wherever he went. He was always accompanied by his faithful chauffer, Harry, who would attend each of these lectures while seated in the back row! One fine day, after Einstein had finished a lecture and was coming out of the auditorium into his vehicle, Harry addresses him and says, “Professor Einstein, I’ve heard your lecture on Relativity so many times, that if I were ever given the opportunity, I would be able to deliver it to perfection myself!” “Very well,” replied Einstein, “I’m going to Dartmouth next week. They don’t know me there. You can deliver the lecture as Einstein, and I’ll take your place as Harry!”
And so it went to be… Harry delivered the lecture to perfection, without a word out of place, while Einstein sat in the back row playing “chauffer”, and enjoying a snooze for a change. Just as Harry was descending from the podium, however, one of the research assistants intercepted him, and began to ask him a question on the theory of relativity…. one that involved a lot of complex calculations and equations. Harry replied to the assistant “The answer to this question is very simple! In fact, it’s so simple, that I’m going to let my chauffer answer it!”
